Message So I need help aligning the front of the hood... a few months back I had a minor accident with a deer that slightly bent up the top of the radiator support. The body shop fixed it and I when I got it back I did notice the hood then that it was sitting high at the front and figured the bumper stops would fix it.

Fast forward to today and it seems more like a bigger issue. The hood sits higher on the driver side, and the passenger side sits perfectly. Tried adjusting the rubber stops to the lowest they could go, but didn't help. Plus they ended up coming apart anyway so I just tossed them.

Then tried adjust the hood latch as low as it could go too, but it didn't help much either.

Another thing to note that the ds headlight was replaced with a new one but it looks different. The assembly overall looks wider, the rubber trim looks bigger, and the lining in the glass is different. Does anyone think the headlight is what is causing it to sit high? I obviously need to take it out and compare it but wanted to see what everyone thinks first. Any ideas/suggestions? This is driving me insane.

edit:

I tried adjusting the tilt on the ds headlight but still not able to get the hood to meet flush with the rubber trim

Notice it sits higher on the driver side.
